Nonprofit • Redondo Beach, California

We grow shared seeds: urban gardens, fresh produce connections, and community food security.

CHIA SEED LEARNING CENTER is an independent nonprofit focused on environment & community food security in Redondo Beach. We cultivate urban gardens, connect local produce, and support healthy meals for low-income households. We do not operate formal schools; our focus is community development, environment, and food security.

  • Cut food waste: promote home composting and redistribution of eligible fresh foods.
